Ken Beason (In Memory Of) Key Clamps For Sale
Saxophone Key Clamps are now available for sale for Alto Saxophone or Tenor Saxophone. Key Clamps are very useful in keeping your horn in adjustment or also for technicians who are breaking in new overhauls and getting their pads to settle. These were designed by the master repairman Ken Beason.
I first learned abut Key Clamps through the legendary alto saxophone player David Sanborn. If you know David, he is probably the most thorough about keeping his horn in playing condition. Since then I’ve used these for over ten years and recommended them to countless players and include them in all my repair work for my clients and friends.
What they do is keep the seats on the tone holes so that the likelihood of leaks coming back are significantly decreased. Also, when you are traveling you are subject to humidity changes which affects the overall seal and feel of the saxophone - key clamps will help getting your horn to settle. They can also help get rid of leaks that may possibly occur from movement within the case, weather, etc. Also great as a shipping tool to keep horns in adjustment during travel…
50 per set including shipping. You can purchase them directly from me through PM or through my website at www.timlinmusic.com
